Hi, I had sign a let contract which would start next week, but decided that I would like to add another tenant in the let contract as my friend is interested in joining me.

However, the agent replied to me that in addition for my friend paying the referencing/admin fee, I would be liable for "£120+fee as they need to cancel one tenancy and produce new contract" -

What would be the best sensible response on above? Please help!! thanks!
