Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour hotel

Hi
I'm thinking of booking to take the hubby to the WB Harry Potter studio tour in November. Any recommendations of hotels to stay in the vicinity? We'll be travelling from Yorkshire. Bonus points for somewhere with a pool. Thanks

If you stay in Watford you can get a shuttle bus to the studios from Watford Junction station. Think it's about £2/3 for a return. Travelodge, Premier Inn, Jurys Inn are all about a 5/10 minute walk to the station.

We're going next weekend and will be staying at Best Western The Watermill, got it on Tesco clubcard vouchers. Tried for Best Western Grims Dyke but they didn't have it available on Clubcard. Unfortunately neither has a pool though.

I'll try and remember to let you know what its like after we've been

They're a little bit further away but fine if you have a car

We stayed at Watford central premier inn - taxi was £10 each way. It was handy for the town centre which has a lovely shopping centre.

For the cheapest hotels you are probably best to look at the Premier Inns at Watford or Watford Croxley. there is also a really nice one with a watermill in Bricket Wood St Albans.

For hotels with Swimming pools you The Mecure in Watford and the Hilton at Watford did have a swimming pool, but not sure they still have one after a recent refurb(both on the same road).

I wouldn't recommend Best Western The Watermill! Lovely surroundings (old mill, watched a heron on the water outside our window one morning) but the room itself was small, old and rundown.

I've stayed in Jurys Inn in Watford before and that's absolutely fine - not far to walk to Watford station where they do the shuttle bus aswell.
