y is my iPad registering as a desktop.

i am an avid swag bucket.
Everyday there is a link on the home page to download the app of the day.
Every day I download it and receive the email link.
When I click on it to download, I get a message saying it's not avalible on a desktop.
I am not on a desktop, I don't own one, I am using an iPad.
I really don't know where to start.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

What home page are you using to download the apps?

Have you considered looking for the Apps you want to download on the App Store?

I am Abel to download apps from the App Store, no probs.
I am signed on to swagbucks, they send an email to my in box with a link to click on, when downloaded then you get some reward points.

Is the spelling correct on the link ??
or is your web browser set as desktop mode ??

I think spelling is ok, they send me an email with a box to tap, then I get taken to a page which says that the offer is not avalible on a desk top.
I don't know enough about the iPad to check setting, or even where to look.

It could be down to the screen resolution. On some larger tablets, the screen res is nearer to a desktop computer, and therefore the website would treat that user as a desktop user to display the correct style of website.
