Need some good conveyancer recommendations, preferably in the London N9 area !

Hi all,

Apologies if there has been a similar thread, but I've just had a house offer (purchase) accepted (3rd time lucky, and several grey hairs later...)

I need to give the estate agents our solicitor details, but I don't want to use the one we had for our first failed purchase.

So - anyone got any reccos? I'm looking at Barnes&Partners, Mackenzies, Martin Shepherd, and Homeward Legal (although they're online, and I'm uncovering a few dodgy stories about them)

Shoosmiths have been brilliant for me so far. I know they are one of the bigger guys and not local but have been chasing the sellers side for things oustanding. Reply to emails within a day & called me to check when I was caught up with the mortgage company side of things.
