Virgin Media Boxes recycling

Hi

I have been chasing Virgin Media to get rid of some old boxes. I asked 4 times but never received the jiffy bags to place them in to send them back and get rid by recycling them. I then escalated the query to a complaint and they said it was a fault on there system and that the boxes were old and were not required to be returned. They said they would send me a jiffy bag out as a matter of course but that I could just bin the box and I wouldn't be charged. I still did not receive my jiffy bag so now I am not sure if I should continue my complaint, just bin it or maybe try use it if it can still be used?

Any advice on if the old box can be used appreciated.
