Holiday purchases covered by section 75?

while on holiday in Dubai i purchased 2 dresses (£400) on my return i have noticed that the dresses are both slightly damaged. Now there is no chance of me going back to Dubai any time soon, so i cant return. Both were paid for using my Halifax credit card. Would i be able to make a section 75 claim? i have emailed the retailer but not had any reply.
