Hi,

I want to understand EIS.
I have the following Crowdcube Investments:

Sugru £100
LUMO £100
Keuken £100
Arc On £100

TOTAL £400

All investments were made this tax year.
Am I correct in understanding I can claim back in income back 30% of my investments so £120 back in income tax paid?
How would I go about this? I am PAYE and do not submit a self assessment tax form.

Many thanks,
pjbltd

You'll have to set up in SA. You can do an online form to request a UTR

The EIS form you get sent suggests you can write in but my understanding is SA is required.

It's a bit of a faff as the boxes are very small for the info you need to supply.

You need to make sure you have the EIS1 form from the company before you claim.
