Low-cost carriers seat advice

Does anyone know of a website or forum with comments on low-cost carriers' seat layouts - like SeatGuru or SeatExpert?

In particular, are Monarch's extra leg-room seats worth the money on short-haul?

    Did LGW-LIS with them and was long enough in the standard seating, I would go for the better seats on longer flights with Monarch, especially those towards the front of the aircraft.

    Depends how tall you are, but having used Monarch in June for a two hour flight on an Airbus A321 I would say no - I'm 5'10" and legroom seemed quite generous. Last time I flew with them was on an Airbus A300 to India in 1998 and legroom for that trip was horrendous.

    Thanks blindman. Just what I was looking for. Seems that the ELR seats are worth it for us 6'+ fellas - even on short-haul.
