Charity collection boxes

Options
Hello,

I'm just curious to see how other charities manage where their collection boxes go out and how often you change where they're displayed?

Thank you :)

Ours tend to go out to events rather than just sat around, and they're usually 'with' someone with whom we have a relationship IYSWIM.

We have a log at work of where they go, who they go with, and what's in them when they come back again!

I'm raising money for a charity and the items are on sale in a village post office. They requested a charity box as then they just put the money in- they keep it behind the counter. The box has a registered number and is in my name. The charity have supplied more seals so that I can open the box, bank the money , then send them a cheque.

I think then that it would be good to show your face there fairly regularly, and best practice to empty the box regularly too. But no set guidelines!
