I'm putting up a lean to conservatory with wet ufh coming off the raidiator in the room next door, I'm thinking of getting this kit, http://www.thefloorheatingwarehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Small_Room_Radiator_Add-on_System.html
but isted of putting screed on top Its been suggested to me I lay the pipes in grooves in the plystyrene and then cover with chipboard, then lay tiles, a bit like this, http://www.koskisen.com/products/chipboard/koskitherm-underfloor-heating-board
Any thoughts?

it won't work like that, polystyrene insulates both from hot & cold meaning the only heat you will get will be from the pipe itself which is what the spreader plates are for in your 2nd link, celetex, pipes on top of that (not cut in) then either screed on top of the pipes or celetex then your 2nd linkI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
We had a similar ufh kit in our small conservatory (approx 3.5x3m). Wish we hadn't bothered, to be honest. The floor was lovely and toasty, but the heat loss through the glass roof & sides meant you were still freezing, albeit with warm feet.0

Something like this Southcoastrgi? http://www.thefloorheatingwarehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Ultra-LOW-Underloor-Heating-Overlay-System---18mm-Panels.html
Or maybe these? http://www.thefloorheatingwarehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Heatboard-Grooved-Board-System.html0 -

If I absolutely had to have a conservatory again, I'd just have a larger dwarf wall where I could have a huge radiator. At least then you could sit next to it and feel warmth above the ankle.
I worked from home during the winter and still needed a fan heater at chest level despite the ufh being on constantly.
The cats loved it, though. They'd always lie next to where the feed came from the boiler.0 -
Thanks, now you've got me in a full circle back to radiators. One wall is solid, and the dwarf wall is big enough for rads, plus I'd quite like a carpet which is not good with ufh. That would be much cheaper too.

It would be much cheaper. Hopefully your floor should be pretty well insulated with celotex/kingspan etc. anyhow, so carpet should feel warm to the touch.
I won't lie to you, though, you won't want to be in there during the winter. Even a mega sized double convector radiator can't disguise that glass hemorrhaging all the heat to the outside.
Be sure that you or your plumber installs a way of isolating your rads/UFH from the rest of the central heating system, otherwise you'll need building regs signoff.0
