How do you know it was fake, where did you get it from?

I can tell by looking at it, the logo is all wrong. Several people on another forum I use have gotten them and everyone is in agreement that they are fake. There's no return information for the merchant in the package.

Thought I'd have a peek on here to see if there was any discussion (I'm wondering, also, if the Living Social Ralph Lauren offer is the same stock?).

TL;DR: I got a refund from Wowcher straightaway, no comment from them other than an offer of Wowcher Credit, which meant I didn't need to return the V-neck jumper I bought. Not sure I can give a likely-fake jumper as a gift!!.

I posted pictures and comments here http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ralph-lauren-shirt-jumpers-28-99-wowcher-coggles-2279324?p=26089775
A few HUKD members are insistent they'd checked with Ralph Lauren and had their Wowcher purchases verified as counterfeit. I emailed Ralph Lauren UK myself, but they gave a rather neutral response, saying they couldn't confirm or deny authenticity.

What really raised my eyebrows was the website below (using the "RA" stock codes Wowcher displays on their link) http://www.wowcher.co.uk/nationwide/national-deal/deal-422082-detail/25-instead-85-polo-ralph-lauren-men-s-long-sleeve/deal.html
When I put the "RA" number listed on the Wowcher link in Google (mine is "RA6699274" for the turquoise V-neck) this site comes up http://www.by-moda.com/Wholesale-Ralph-Lauren-Jerseys-Pullover/RA6699274.html

Note all of the RL items have that very same (fake?) Polo label which I have suspicions about.

Not sure what sort of retailer they are, but their website doesn't look too prestige!
I realise MSE stated recently (about the Living Social/Ralph Lauren offer) http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/ralph-lauren
Is this legit? Ralph Lauren jumpers for £35 might sound a bit too good to be true, so we asked LivingSocial to confirm these are 100% genuine Ralph Lauren stock. It told us: "We purchase these jumpers from a trusted supplier. He can only supply into us when he provides proof that these items are non-counterfeit."
LivingSocial also showed us an invoice to prove the jumpers were originally bought direct from Ralph Lauren. If you'd rather buy direct yourself, you can use this Ralph Lauren 20% off code to save money on most items from the official site (though prices are much higher there to begin with).
Curious to hear the feedback from the Living Social/Ralph Lauren deal!

I received my Living Social v-neck yesterday and it appears fake.
