    I took it that your wife also wants premium bonds, so sitting down with an IFA might help understand the options. It also might be the case that ISAs are not suitable. It depends on your situation, timeframe, risk attitude and what you are looking to get from the investment.

    A good IFA should be able to be the intermediary in your joint investment plans.
    If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?
