On-Site parking - Birmingham airport

No matter how many websites I look at, each offering a discount every one has the same price

Not much competition then?

I would not expect otherwise for onsite

I'm learning :) so, on-site is a "fixed price" irrespective who I book through?
  • But they give lots of different discounts to come to the same price, don't we have a governing body that supposed to look at this sort of advertising

You get a reduced price with NCP if you book in excess of 120 days of departure. Long term 5 is only a 10 minute walk to the terminal, long term 4 is a bit closer and can be cheaper than 5 at certain times. They provide a bus to the terminal building but if we haven't got much luggage we find it easier to walk.

4 generally isn't worth the extra as its just the nearest corner of 5 fenced off. Last time I found a free space in 5 just a few feet away from the dividing fence that others paid extra to be on the other side of.

They also do have 'sales' and offers and sometimes discount codes pop up on the web. I have found its better to pay a couple of quid extra for the flexible rate and book very early. Then if there is an offer you can book afresh on that rate and cancel the flexible one for a refund.
European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.
  • As a general rule at most airports, onsite doesn't get discounted. There are sometimes exceptions, but generally it's only off site companies that will discount.
