Armed Forces Investment Group

Hi everyone,

First time posting on a forum - in essence I am looking to invest/day trade and have been in touch through facebook a site called Armed Forces Investment Group who are linked in some way to Easy Forex who seem to be a trading company. Being ex forces it caught my eye.

Has anyone heard of these companies? Are they bona fide? The guy I was messaging seemed switched on and very friendly etc but I thought I'd try and pick some brains before I committed.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Stu

Day trading is a mug's game. Don't do it.

Forex trading is one of the best ways in the world to quickly lose large amounts of money. Don't.
  • Armed forces has zero correlation to trading or investing. An irrelevance - you'd be as well going with the scorcerers guild investment service.

Saying you are interested in trading/investing is like saying you are interested in carpets/mountain climbing. The 2 have nothing to do with each other.

First question is what are your objectives - start with how old are you, what is your family situation, how is your health, what do you earn, what debts have you got, do you own a house, when do you want to retire, what savings / pension do you have already.

A bit more info and you will get some good advice.

    Stu,

I have zero faith, enthusiasm, interest or appetite for Forex - however, I do know someone (ex mil) who teaches and writes about it. If you're absolutely committed to the idea, he'd possibly be a good place to start off on the right foot at least, with an objective assessment of the pros and cons. Let me know if you want an introduction.

Your advice here has been bad/suspect (leave 1.2 million in your current acct at no interest and unprotected) and now more advice and asking them to contact you for an introduction?????

This has gone from merely bad advice by a supposed professional to a possible Scam..

    I am reporting you
  • Guys,

Thanks for the info - the unit average seems to be to give it a swerve.
