Nobody_knows wrote: »Actually that is where you are wrong - When I was going to college, the being around people part was getting harder and harder and I set a bunch things on fire in the college canteen and they suspended me and told me to do my college work from home as I was a danger to them. I could never figure out why they did that - It wasn't my fault I was struggling to be around people and I didn't choose to had a messed up childhood so Why do I have to suffer by kicked out. I have always wanted to make the teacher that did that pay for that.
This is a very worrying post. Do you have a support worker you can tell these feelings to? Have you mentioned them in therapy? Does your therapist talk through why the college took the actions it did and why your actions are your responsibility? It worries me that you think they need to pay for protecting other students.0 -

I did tell her and I got assessed by a forensic psychiatrist and he said I was fine(ish). I just don't understand why I have to keep suffering, this has always been happening since I was little. Most of it was not my fault, but some how I was always the one that punished. It is always the other student that get looked at favourably. I am just a product of my environment.0 -

The college have to protect students and their property, and if you set fire to something, it is your fault. The college need you to be able to take responsibility f your actions, regardless of your childhood. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that is how outside agencies will view your actions. Do your neighbours know about the danger? I would be terrified.0 -

Adding to comments on the OU, I have tried several times to study with them but it has not been ideal. I've completed a couple of short 30 credit courses, but some of the 60 credit courses I have dropped out of after 1 or 2 TMA's as I have personally found it too hard to work and study without being in a classroom. When I did my Access Course I found being in a class room really helped me concentrate and motivate myself.0

Would second other comments about trying out Futurelearn - I've taken part in about 6 of the courses and thoroughly enjoyed each one.

Sometimes the NHS are useless though, tea-bag. My cancer was not diagnosed for a long time because despite being given the facts by both me and my GP the 'consultant' refused to even examine me as he said women of my age didn't get my type of cancer. Even when a registrar saw me bent over crying in pain she said there was nothing wrong. Eventually when I did get treatment they found I did indeed have cancer. But oh wait... Hang on... No I didn't because everyone who is sick is a faker
I had an emergency major operation to shut me up because there was nothing actually wrong with me despite having lab tests that show conclusive proof of cancer and one of the leading gynaecologists in the country on my case because it was so rare. And the operation I had ten weeks ago was just to shut me up and I didn't have crippling stomach pain resulting in emergency removal of my gallbladder either. Where and when is your medical degree from, tea-bag?
And here's a puzzle for you, tea-bag. Everyone with fibro/CFS/ME just needs to get more exercise and get off their backsides and they will be cured. I know of a young girl, twenty years old. She has fibro and ME, so your answer would no doubt be 'why isn't she working' my answer would be because she is wheelchair bound. Her limbs dislocate on a regular basis. She has total bladder failure. She is tube-fed, reliant on oxygen. She has multiple seizures regularly and needs to be resuscitated on a reasonably regular basis. Even if she could get out of her chair she would collapse as she has a heart rhythm disorder which causes her to collapse. Her frail young body often cannot cope and shuts down entirely. Yes she clearly has a lot of other very serious medical disorders. However my point is a lot of people with fibro often develop it because of other serious medical conditions. Yet she has fibro. Do you still stand by your comment that all fibro sufferers just need to change their lifestyle?
All I'm saying is yes you do believe in equality- you believe that all disabled people are equally faking. If you opened your narrow sighted eyes a bit you might realise that one label does not 'fit all'- fakers.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

The OU don't offer Access courses as such, just a module. Plus you spoke of setting fire to the place when you were "at college".0 -
You have no idea do you? I had to constantly pester doctors last year to get the answer I needed. Or rather, to change the medication that did sod all for me apart from give me a blocked nose. Which as someone with asthma, isn't ideal. I was told by one GP it was just hayfever.
Not everyone who self diagnoses is actually wrong.
You remind me of the GP who sat there and told me I was imagining the pain I was in because "the MRI scan said so". lol, you can't see pain.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
