Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm not to great around forums.
I felt I had to post about lowcostholidays.com
I booked a holiday to Dominican Republic with them as they were the cheapest by around £400.
I paid in full by credit card but didn't receive a confirmation email. After 5 hours I rang them and was told that it's perfectly normal and can take up to 72 hours while they get flight confirmation, I thought it was odd but ok.
An hour later I got an email saying please call them, I did and was told that the flight we picked had suddenly gone up by £150 per person.
I was enraged as that now put the price in thompson or Thomas Cook range, which as far bigger brands I'd feel safer going with.
I cancelled with them and booked with thompson now, however lowcostholidays.com have not refunded my credit card and will not answer emails or anything else. Having real trouble with them.
My dad always said you get what you pay for in this world. My advice if you are booking a holiday, don't use lowcostholidays.com, pay the little bit more and go with a decent company, as you will end up paying the price anyway!
