SA302 provided - now Tax year overview requested

Hi
Our finances are a little bit complicated, so we appreciate we're a borderline case for a mortgage, however, Santander keep asking for what appears to be the same information in different formats.
To date, we've provided our accountants reference, an SA302 form for the past 2 years from HMRC and all our bank statements showing income and outgoings.
They've now however asked for a Tax Year Overview.
My accountant says this will give them exactly the same information as the SA302 and that it'll take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Yet my broker is saying we have to provide it and that it can be downloaded on-line!
So who is correct and does anyone know if this is normal request for complicated applications and if so, why will it help?
Thanks

A tax calculation and SA302 are the same thing, one printed and sent, the other online.
A tax overview confirms the payment of the tax due on the above. Lenders are now wise to those obtaining a SA302 to get their mortgage and re-filing a revised return after the event to reduce their tax/income.I am a mortgage broker. I just downloaded mine online.
Lloyds asked for both0 -
Thanks for this, now it makes sense and I'll stop thinking I've just been unlucky with a very pedantic underwriter!!0

Is this something I can do then, or will my accountant need to download it? He's the one who files our tax returns.0

Just to add.
What Lloyds asked me for was the SA302's from HMRC
or Copies (if using 3rd party software) and Tax Overviews.
I sent both in to be on the safe side.0 -
I've never logged in, but will see if my accountant has login details.
Thanks for your help and for coming back to me so quickly.0 -
If your accountant filed using HMRC software then they can login and print off the information. You can too if you have an online account.
If they submitted using commercial software then the information wouldn't be available via the online portal and would need to be taken from the software; the software provider would advise how this is done if unknown.0 -

The Tax Year Overview can be printed off irrespective of what software was used.
It's only the SA30's that depend on what 3rd party software was used.
Is the Tax Year Overview not displayed on the HMRC site when using 3rd party software?0
