Help! Media creation tool

Hello, I'm needing to do a clean install of windows 10 as the computer got stuck in an infinite blue screen loop trying to start up, after rolling back to 7.

I'm currently downloading the Windows 10 ISO for my system.

The guide online says to use the media creation tool to put the ISO onto a DVD or USB to use to boot the computer and install windows.

However I can't find a link to download the Media creation tool. Every time I click on one it just takes me to the same page that I used to download the ISO, and there doesn't seem to be a link anywhere for the actual tool?

Anyone help point me in the right direction? thanks

You basically need to burn the ISO to bootable media (DVD or USB).

Safe to use any such software then? No need to use the microsoft one?

I found a program called rufus, which is for making bootable USB from ISOs

Thanks but it just keeps redirecting me to the ISO page, and I've already gone through downloading that. Have really thoroughly searched through options on that page and the only thing it links to downloading is the ISO

Burning an ISO is built into windows, so you dont need any extra software. (assuming you are using a recently version of windows, ie not XP)

just right click on the ISO, and it should give the option to burn it to cd/dvd.

This only works for creating the DVD thou, not for USB

I used that Rufus program that I found. It loaded the ISO onto USB quickly.
I've booted laptop off the USB and it's currently installing Windows, so all good so far.
