Transfered money to an account i had switched

I have just made a bit of rookie error. I tried to make a transfer to a bank account but ended up transferring money to an account that has been switched.
Problem is, the account has been switched again, and possible again and I am not sure where the final link in the chain is (other than i know it has not been closed). All these switches have been made in the last year so I am thinking it will be covered by the 13 month guarantee.
Will my money pop up somewhere eventually (and when) or do i have to wave goodbye to my £20? I take it I can't contact the bank I made the transfer from and request a reversal?
Thanks

Just in case anyone else is stupid enough to do this - the money has appeared in another account several links down the line! :j0

As an aside, I think I read some change of T&Cs the other day which said switches are now guaranteed for 24 or 36 months, so you may well have had longer than the 13 months to have been safe!0

Glad your money has arrived at its final destination.
Definitely time to do some housekeeping? Delete obsolete payment transfers, or at least rename them clearly so you can't easily make the same mistake again;)0 -
