Free Natwest travel insurance

Natwest is offering Gold card customers free travel insurance (worth £160), once your travel booking was made on/after 27th April 2005. I lost out on this one as I made my booking on 25/5  , so am now searching for a cheap option for a single trip policy (Natwest charges £60 for a couple). Hope this post helps someone else save some money though.

Forgot to add - you don't need to pay for your travel with the Natwest Advantage Gold card in order to get the insurance. Once it's booked from 27/4 onwards with any card, you're automatically covered (AND YOUR PARTNER TOO).0

I actually picked up the new leaflet, to see what they had changed.
didn't think it was worth the monthly fee, other than for this insurance, though.
& if you've been a customer for any amount of time, already holding one of these accounts, think I'd be inclined to ask if they'd be flexible - or at least discount your premium!!
