    Not my particular area of expertise, but I would assume it would be easier just to leave the property to a descendant in the will, rather than go through a sales process like this. But I could be wrong.

    I had a similar situation a few years back. I booked to view a property but then I saw on line that the house had increased by over triple the market. I asked the EA the same as OP, and they said there were no major changes done by current owners.

    I walked away.

    Prices are rocketing in the areas i am looking at compared to sold prices. Not sure why you are gnarked off. Its not for you to decide the selling price.
