Early Season Skiing - Where's good?

Hi All

Now autumns arrived early I am starting to feel the need to dust off the ski's!

Looking to go for a long weekend around the 1st November, year I know very early in the season!

Anyone got any ideas as to where I might find some of the white stuff that time of year? I believe Norway and Sweden might be favorites or glacier skiing in France / Austria

we have been to Norway (Geilo) at Xmas twice once was really good the other a bit limited due to snow cover, so November might be iffy.

Finland might be worth a look.

Went to Obergurgl in Austria early last December. That was good, although a month later than you want to go.
