Good morning everyone :hello:
I haven't been sleeping very well for a little while and it really affected my mood but last night my Hubby put the winter weight duvet on when he stripped the bed and changed it and I slept much better. I think I was getting cold and that was waking me up all the time. I felt like hibernating this morning, it was so cosy and warm in bed.
I've caught up with my washing apart from putting it away. I don't know why but I always put it off until I actually run out of clothes :rotfl:. I am making pulled pork for tea thanks to my eldest DD as I have lost the chopping blade on my food processor. She came round with hers before taking the grandchildren to school. It is very handy having her live round the corner, I will really miss them when they eventually move.
I'm glad there is good news on the thread today with Mr TA's treatment starting soon and Hester's SIL not being as serious as first thought. Hugs are sent to Hilstep with the hope that the news isn't as bad as feared and notjustLaura, I hope you can take steps to keep yourself well, Avon sounds like a great idea.
Well, it's brightening up so I am going to go and get dressed. I am not sure if I am having any visitors today so I shall just have a chilled day at home. Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx0 -
Good morning everyone. It is a bright and breezy morning here. Washing pegged out, another load going through in the wm, beds made, pets fed and cleaned, recycling put in green bin, compost on compost heap, wood baskets out for re-loading and washing put away. Now for a quick cup of coffee before I do the breakfast pots.
I'm planning on tidying up the utility room this morning and then making some dough for pizza bases. HM pizza, salad and potato wedges for tea today.
Hugs to those who need them including notjustlaura and Hilstep.
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Hester
What a relief for SIL - so pleased.
Had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and still have chicken and veg soup to finish eating unless I freeze a portion to give to DD. Might have fish and veg tonight depending on whether I have company or not.
I have washing to go on the line and DD is coming to collect some furniture today sometime and for the rest of her bits and bobs tomorrow .
I would like to start sewing a patchwork cushion cover for youngest.
We were discussing ideas and I showed her a few examples when she decided she "did not like the patchwork that looked like little bits of material sewn together!" I opened my mouth to point out that that is what patchwork is - but shut it again hastily
Hope Lame Wolf is enjoying her holiday and is OK.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

Morning :hello:
We have chaos. The bath is being ripped out and the tiles pulled off the wall. Scampi wants to know what's going on, in detail, so is making a nuisance of himself. There are only so many times I can throw his kong down the garden for him, I can't keep going all day, lol. He entertained himself for a few minutes, having a barky chat through the fence to his doggy mate next doorI'm afraid I've taken the lazy way out and filled his kong with peanut butter. It won't last long but the silence is wonderful at the moment

Not sure how much I'm going to get done today. I'm either going to sail through the next few hours or be a stressy wreck by teatimeI've managed to put the shopping away and clean the kitchen, it feels like a huge achievement, lol.

Afternoon all,
I havent posted for about 2 weeks,we went away for our Ruby Anniversary to a cottage near Cartmel & took Lyla, and then we are also having chaos today as part of the new kitchen has been delivered, and DS & DH are on with that now.Lyla hates work going on in the house, loud noises scare her so she is currently hiding upstairs-her favourite hidey hole is under DS desk, preferably with him sat at it.
Tru -She is also partial to a peanut butter filled kong, but being a giant breed and therefore having a giant sized kong,it uses up a lot of peanut butterso I have to ration her.
I am hoping in the next day or 2 ,to have an oven again so :j I can get back to OS ways,my food bill has certainly rocketed while using more convenience stuff
Right,I'd better go and check on the neurotic hound as the drilling is a bit noisy atm.
I hope everyone has been ok while I've not been posting, not caught up either so hugs if you need one x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0
