Help!
I recently tried to buy foreign currency from four different websites using both Nationwide and HSBC Visa Debit cards. On every occasion the transaction did not go through with the websites stating they check with Experian and Experian cannot match my card with my address.
I find this difficult to accept because I have lived at my present address for 6 years, am on the electoral roll and my two banks do not see a problem with my address.
I have contacted Experian by email and received an automated reply but nothing since then.
Do Experian expect me to pay to see my credit report and then try to make corrections to their flawed data, or, spend money on an expensive phone call?
I resent either way because it is their flawed data base that is causing me the problems.
Grateful for any advice on how to proceed.
Dan

It sounds like nonsense to me.
Why would they check with Experian when they can check with the card issuer (and it's standard for cardholder not present transactions.)
I assume the address you want it delivered to and the address the bank has are the same?0
