Benefits claim

Hi, this has probably been posted before but panicking so haven't looked...I have left my current job for another job but that's now fell through and can't go back, can you advise me on what I would need for claiming anything that I am entitled to or not? I don't get my p45 til next week and the next job I have lined up starts in 6 weeks!! Please help

    You need to try claiming JSA.
    However, you may or may not be treated as leaving voluntarily without good reason and not entitled to JSA.

    If you can get _any_ work - even for one day - then JSA would be payable if that job comes to an end, as what matters is the last job you left.

    you would also need to be actively seeking work.
    you say you have a job to start in 5 weeks ... to claim JSA you need to be looking for work whilst waiting for that job to start
