Account Switching overdraft

On friday my bank account is switching from RBS to Santander. It all seemed simple enough until i noticed that the account santander is giving me only a 350 overdraft when my RBS account is 910.
My question is what will happen with this?
I dont have the spare cash right now to pay off the rest. Im one of those folk that tend to live in their overdraft (which is something im working on). Im really worried sick about it, as if they swallow my wages im up yon creek without a boat never mind a paddle

See this recent thread, which I'd interpret as meaning that the switch will go ahead but you'll be left owing RBS either £910 or £560. If you've switched from the account and are no longer using it then I'd expect RBS will start demanding repayment so you may have to do some negotiating.0

You should still be able to cancel your switch0

Not fully though, it appears. Looks like only "certain elements" of it can be cancelled. From the Santander switching help pages...You should still be able to cancel your switch
Although I'm not sure what these "certain elements" are? OP will be though when they call Santander and ask!You can cancel your switch up to seven working days before your switch date. After that only certain elements can be cancelled. If you’re switching to us, we’ll guide you through this process if you choose to do this.

Presumably if any element of the switch can be cancelled then the closing of the original account must be one of them - otherwise what other element could be not switched if the original account gets closed?YorkshireBoy wrote: »Not fully though, it appears.
