Rattling boiler cover - need quick fix

I had a combi boiler fitted into a cupboard in the bedroom as there was nowhere else for it to go. It's only about three years old, however when it fires up, the cover rattles and wakes me up.
I'd like to fit some kind of strap around it to hold the cover tight to stop it vibrating but not sure what to use, it would need to be something removable in case it ever needs taking off for repair.
Does anyone have any ideas of something I could use for this purpose?

Try the elasticated straps that cyclist use to hold items on their bikes or I have found a while back in our local 99p shop adjustable straps like they use on HGV trucks to secure the loads0

Take the cover off tighten any loose screws put something such as foam padding or rubber spacers where the metal cover is touching the rest of the metal housing and your rattles should be solved.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Really wouldn’t advise taking cover off and just tightening screws inside a boiler that’s really dumb many wouldn’t know the difference between head of screw used to fix parts down and one used to adjust,,,
Unlikely to be casing itself but check cover screws are tight
Gapper / gorrila tape in union jack or cross shape on front to sides would eliminate cause just being loose cover ?
If not then could be pump / fan bearings, wire from fan hitting the side, something loose worn creating vibration multitude of things really? Maybe at service time see if source is identifiable with cover off,0 -
Thanks for replies, I have noticed that when it starts rattling, if I place my hand on the cover it does silence it so maybe something wrapped around would be sufficient. I don't think it's from inside the boiler and I wouldn't be confident taking it apart anyway.0

Do you work night-shift? Why is the heating on when you are asleep?0

Boiler still uses electricity to pump the water around. It's cheaper to run it at night to heat a hot water cylinder using an Economy 7 tariff.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

If it is rattling then it is likely to be because then cover has not been replaced correctly after it has been serviced.
I assume that it is serviced occasionally!I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
