Hi
Applied for Nationwide card last week and was declined, so applied for post office card tonight and was accepted, why is this? Also Pst office do not charge you for using their card abroad.Is this right

Every credit card company has their own criteria for selecting customers. Your profile didn't suit Nationwide, whereas it did with the PO. There are many determining factors so it won't be down to one thing alone.
You will NOT get charged a 2.75% fee for using your PO card abroad. I have one specifically for overseas transactions.0 -
Ive just received my new Post Office Credit Card as we are going abroad only to read in the small print that Purchase Protection Insurance is only valid in UK and Ireland what's the point in that, hence just cancelled card.0
