If you cannot progress online without ticking one of those boxes then it looks like you will need to use the post.
Complain to the BPA and the DVLA that you are being railroaded into providing leading or incorrect information in the appeal, and are therefore prevented from appealing. Then appeal in writing/email.0 -

we ask people to post new threads to prevent information becoming cross wired ...........

Out of curiosity, does complain actually work? What does it actually do?
I will draft (copy from somewhere) a complain letter later when I have time and let you guys have a check then
