in Credit cards
hi all
I'm currently considering applying for this card as i need to use a credit card for online purchases etc and will pay it off each and every month, so the cahsback card seems good, along with the free travel insurance.
looking at the site you need an 'excellent' credit history and an existing card with over over £5,000 credit limit. I don't have a card with that high an amount (basic one account visa card with 3.5k), but my credit score from experian is 'excellent' which i think is ok..
I've also moved bank in the last 4 months, but not for anything other than a better mortgage..
am i likely to be successful do you think??? - don't want to do unneccessary damage to my credit history...

nobody got any views?
i've heard this card is difficult to get hold of so don't want to try if i'm likely to fail....0 -
You might be surprised - particularly if they accept your application instantly (they accepted me, but not instantly, when I applied) I'd say capital one is one of the easier cards to be accepted for. They very probably won't approve you for an inferior card so what's to lose?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Well, I moved home in February, moved bank account and credit card in March and changed jobs in April and they still accepted me. However, I understand if that doesn't constitute a recommendation! The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0
