Hi, my son is going to work/study in New Zealand for one maybe two years. I would like to send him off with a card with money loaded on it but not sure what sort.

Revolut. At least for the first year.0

He can open a NZ account before he goes. I know ANZ do it, you could put the money straight in there, although not sure of the fees.0

He can also fund the local account via Revolut. Before the end of the first year, if Revolut starts charging, they can review the situation.0
