Buying a park home (with "mortgage")?

You cannot have a mortgage on a Park Home end of, the Park Homes website will tell you this.
You can finance it like buying a car, caravan, static home etc. which will be at much higher interest rates as a consequence.
The only rights you have are under the Mobile Homes Act 2013 which are slightly better than they used to be, but not much.
Very very occasionally you can purchase a Park Home on a freehold piece of land, but it's rare, that would be slightly different as you would own the land.
Don't do it, especially with a family. it is slightly different I think for people who have no intention of selling on at some point i.e. they see it as their final home and are not concerned about the value after they pass away. Even that is fraught with problems.
You will see on Rightmove, Park Homes can be up for sale for years before a buyer can be found.
