Amex Platinum Cashback Everyday card

After doing research on cashback cards and reading Martin's article on it, I am leaning towards to applying for the Amex Platinum Cashback Everyday card. A few queries:
1. Is an instant decision given to you (acceptance/decline)?
2. Is the credit limit displayed when the application is accepted?
3. What is the credit limit like? I know it depends on personal circumstances. Are the limits generous like the ones Barclaycard and MBNA give?
4. Cashback - how do you transfer the cashback earned into a bank account? I understand that you can't use the cashback to pay part of the monthly bill off, or to a credit to the card account .
Prefer the cashback in terms of 'cash' sent into my bank account (if it's possible), instead of in the form of vouchers and gift cards.
I understand Amex is not accepted in a lot of places compared to Visa and Mastercard. However, to see if it's worth having in terms of acceptance, I have checked the 'Who Accepts Amex' website, and the places I go to regularly and rarely (including online), they do accept Amex.
I want to apply for this card, as the cashback percentage is good (I spent over £3000-£5000 a year usually) to qualify for the 1% rate.

1. Usually but not always, it was in my case.
2. Mine wasn't.
3. Plenty for me, not as much as another card I have but they probably took that into account.
4. They credit it to your account as I understand it. You can get more if you opt for vouchers but you don't have to.0 -

4. The cashback is not paid into your bank account, unless you decide to cancel the card.
5. Everywhere i have tried to use my card has pretty much been successful.
However if there is a place you use often that do not accept it, then use this link Click Here
If you do apply, i would recommend first getting a referral for the card.0 -
To add to the above, you can get it added to your account without you having to cancel it, you just have to not use it the month before your anniversary, and so you'll get a credit balance which you can then ask to be paid back into your account.
Also ive found that most place s that i go to also accept it, its only te rare places which dont, and for which I have an alternative card. Id also recommend going for the card which has a fee for the first year as if you spend more than 3.3k that card becomes worth it.0
