Tiling quote, Leicestershire, Midlands

Hello all
I usually hang around the DIY board but I had a quote today for some tiling and a bit of plastering and just wanted to see whether it was considered fair or not.

I've already had my old shower cubicle pulled out and some of the plaster came away from the wall so he will be re-doing part of the wall which is about 2m sq. He is then tiling approx 10m sq, this is up to approx 1.5m around the bath and then the rest is tiling in a walk in shower. He is also replacing the board that the electric shower is mounted on (this will be over the bath) and this will be part of what is being tiled.

He has quoted £453 which doesn't include the cost of the tiles but includes everything else. He said it will be a 2 day job as he will have to do the plastering part which needs doing and then come back to tile over once it's set (he said that could take 1-3 days to set).
I've seen some tiles I like which are going to cost me about £50 for 10m sq.

How does that price sound for that work, I live near Leicester in the East Midlands.

Guidance would be appreciated,

2 days labour, cement board for the shower, adhesive, edge strips, grout. As long as you know his work is of a good standard i would be happy with that price.

It is worth paying a decent rate to get a decent job that will last for years imho.

Thanks both, he brought photos with him of his work which looked okay to me and I liked the fact that he offered them without me having to ask (good CS is always a plus for me!).
I'm going to get a couple more quotes just to be sure but I'm 90% sure he's my guy!
