How to decorate baubles?

Options
I've got some fillable baubles & I'd like to personalise them. I haven't the foggiest idea if I need stencils or some sort of scratch-on words,no idea what they are called.
If you have a link to a video or an ebay page that can give me a lead I'd be most grateful:T
I've got some paints.
It's mainly names/words I'm thinking about.

Yes,that's what I was thinking of doing. I thought the stick on letters would be tricky as it's curved(bauble). I have been searching for vinyl/flexi stencils to paint but will have a go at stick-ons, see if they last
  • You could try personalised ribbon, tie it round and choose the best colour to suit your bauble. I used some once from Party Packs :j

Would a Sharpie pen not be ideal for the writing?
I have a set (still unopened!!) These are Sharpie permanent marker fine point and it says " Marks on most surfaces. Quick drying, water resistant."

Alternatively, you can get gold or silver paint pens from amazon which would work well on baubles. I prefer them to sharpies.
