i have been unable to get online with my ipad for the past 18 hrs. it was working perfectly then just went offline without any reason or warning
my laptop is working fine so it isnt an issue with my router but i have turned it off for a few hours
but nothing seems to get the ipad to conneect to the wifib signal
doea anyone have any ideas about this, or how i can get my ipad online again?

First of all, have you tried disabling the wifi on the ipad. Then turning it back on an trying to connect.
if that doesn't work, you could try to reboot the ipad.
If the ipad finding the router, but just not connecting to it, or is something else happening ?0 -
ithingies are notorious for losing wifi
Try:
Reboot router
switch wifi off on ithingy, reboot and switch back on
connect ithingy to computer, backup and do a itunes restore.0 -
Have you changed any setting in your wifi router setting?
I would suggest that you delete Wifi network connection
Reboot wifi router
Reboot your iPad.
And add back your wifi network again. (on the iPad check if you are obtaining an IP address)0 -

the only change i can think of is that the ipad did an automatic software update a few hours before it went weird.
ive noticed that its not charging up either ive had it plugged in for ages.0 -
Can you verify which version of IOS are you running?
What is your iPad model? Air, Mini?0 -

Assuming you've updated to iOS 9 and your iPad is a WiFi and Cellular model it could be linked to a new feature: "Wi-Fi Assist".

When your iPad detects a weak Wi-Fi signal it'll drop to Cellular (where available). It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
