Hi,
I'm of to Calais in the morning for a day trip, while my kids dont mind a bit of shopping, it seem unfair to get them excited and then just take then to another Tescos (or Carrefour etc). Can anybody recommend somewhere to take 10 & 6 year old boys around Calais?? Please help as theres nothing worse than just driving round searching for something.
I got hold of a promotional code for P&O ferries worked out at £23 return, which isn't to bad, enter 'KOSQ3' in the promotional code box

Just got back from Calais this afternoon as we stayed over last night. My kids love going on the beach at Calais and watching the boats go in and out. It is a lovely sandy beach. We also went to Flunch at Cite De Europe (also one at Auchan in Coquelles) where they did a fab kids lunch with a free toy - a fish shaped gun that fires light polystyrene type circles - went down really well lol. There is also a Toys R Us in Cite De Europe which is a good incentive for 'after' mum and Dad do the shopping 'if you are good' lol.
Have a great day :beer:0
