Relist

I only sell the odd item, therefore, looking for some advice.
I've sold 2 items to individual buyers, both buyers have a feedback score of less than 5.
I've sent both byers an invoice, yet, received no communication from either buyer.
I've emailed both buyers requesting payment, again, no communication received back, I get the impression both buyers have no intention of purchasing the item, so, now I've decided to block both buyers.
I've tried to cancel both sales, but the option to do so says "I've agreed to cancel the sale"
I want to cancel the sale so I can relist the item, is this possible?

You should only cancel the sale that way if the buyer will agree to it. They would need to agree to cancel the sale to get your fees back.
You need to report them as unpaid and then they get a further four days to pay before they sale is cancelled. They also can't leave feedback
If you don't and relist before doing this, you will end up paying two lots of fees. The original sellers may also pay meaning you have sold the same item twice. You can also set it up so Ebay automatically opens a case for unpaid items.
The buyer may still pay while the case is open but its rare.0 -
Thanks for your advice,
They didn't agree to cancel the purchase, I cancelled their purchase in hasteYou should only cancel the sale that way if the buyer will agree to it
OK, got thatYou need to report them as unpaid.
Cancelled order message states I have to wait 10 days for the buyer to confirm cancellation. If you don't and relist before doing this, you will end up paying two lots of fees.
Can they pay even though I've cancelled their purchase and blocked them? The original sellers may also pay meaning you have sold the same item twice
Do I have to wait 10 days before relisting?
As I cancelled their purchase in haste, can I cancel that part?0 -
If you have already tried a cancellation then you no longer have the option of doing the non paying bidder process.
Only completing the NPB process prevents a buyer leaving feedback, a mutual allows feedback to be left.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Blocking buyers does not change retrospective bids or purchases. Yes, they can refuse your cancellation request depending on the type of cancellation you sent, and still pay.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. If I understand the process correctly, I now have to wait 10 days, if I don't hear from either buyer on the 10th day, I can relist both items.
What about fees, how do I make sure I don't get charged twice?0 -

If they refused a cancellation them you will have to pay fees.
The only way to avoid this was to open a non paying buyer dispute, then close it two days later if they didnt pay.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
If they refused a cancellation them you will have to pay fee.
Buyers cannot refuse cancellation under the new process.
The buyer will have to say 'I haven't paid yet' or 'I received my refund on (date)', there is no option to refuse. If they do not reply, it will time out in the buyer's favour with a final value fee credit.
Although the correct route is of course the Unpaid Item process.0 -
After 10 days with no response from them it will close automatically and you will get your fees back.0
