nPower final payment

Hi.
Am hoping someone can help with something.
I have just checked my bank account to find that nPower have taken more than they usually do for my monthly Direct Debit. Five times as much in fact.
It is also tagged as 'Final Payment'.
It's late so I can't contact them now. But I'm really nervous. I can't afford that kind of payment in one go. Hence the reason I set up a Direct Debit.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way to get it back?

Hi, If its your final payment then its because your Npower account has been closed down or you have left Npower and changed to another supplier, you should have recieved a final statement from Npower stating that the final amount will be taken as one direct debit amount, Npower do monthly DD while you are on supply but if you leave then the final amount owed is as 1 direct debit payment unless you request it to be cancelled then you can choose to go on a final account payment plan which you can pay monthly, weekly etc.. with a payment card or do a standing order. But by the sounds of it they've took the payment already? if you didnt receive your statement then you can claim through your bank and they will refund you the money and then you just setup one of the above payment plans with npower0
