How do I Disable Skype on Start-up. (win 10).

As per the title, can one of you good people tell me how to stop skype launching on start up of my laptop. Windows 10.

Check the options in Skype?

Or disable Skype in the Startup options in MSCONFIG.

Desktop version or app from Windows Store?

My advice is to get rid if the latter and download the former.

The app is a NIGHTMARE to stop even with every single usual option covered.

It still starts and shows you as signed in to others.

Best thing I ever did was ditch it and switch to desktop which is so much easier to control.

I think there is a general problem with Skype today, I cant get in on a Win7 desktop or IPad, neither can my son who lives 30 miles away.

Looks like Microsoft have done a very good job of disabling Skype on start up.
