I would want a garden. It's great for children if you ever plan to have any, or rent or sell to a family. For the occasional sunny day, a garden is lovely to sit in and have your breakfast/lunch/dinner, sitting out to read a book, or have a barbeque or drink with friends. But many might not mind, it's upto you whether you think it is worth it.

I lived in a back to back for ten years so it didn't have a garden, it was never a problem for us and was quite nice not having to garden every weekend bar in the winter.0
