Friends 7k Bursary repayment

My friend just told me about her debt problems and im trying to find the right people to help. She went to university in England after 1st September 2012, has student loan and isn't currently earning enough to have to start paying it back yet. She also has some sort of bursary which they (whoever it is only brief convo) claim they overpaid so now they are hounding her for 7 grand.

She is very worried and i dont think she really knows where turn. If more details needed I'll ask her just general enquiry right now.

Sounds like she could do with posting a statement of affairs on the Debtfree Wannabe board, they'll be able to help her manage her finances. It would be best that she does this herself though, much easier to get the information first hand.

The student loan won't be an issue, she'll only be required to repay once she's earning enough. It's the bursary overpayment that she needs to be concerned about, has she confirmed that there actually was an overpayment, as £7K seems a lot to get when you're not expecting it?
