ive signed up with bt for my broadband i wanted some info redarding the wifi ive got 2 mates who want to use my signal as they dont have landlines. would this slow my net connection if there are 3 people using it? many thanks.

Yes it will slow donw your speed becasue you are sharing the bandwidth available to you.
how much depends on what each one is downloading and if all 3 are on at the same time.
If its just general web browsing there shoudlnt really be much of a noticable difference in speed. But on large downloads it may become noticable if all 3 are using the connection.0 -
it's shared bandwidth, so possibly if they spend all day downloading, for general web browsing, you probably won't notice.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

thanks for your help we would probs be using it for general browsing. i could not find any info of how far the wifi signal would go to. 1 of my mates is approx 100 mtrs away.0
