cleaning stained brickwork (from boiler overflow)

accrued over some time, how does MSE suggest I can clean this off?

Scrub with hot water / bleach?

jet wash/

steamer?

  • get some brick cleaner from the builders merchants ,some industrial rubber gloves and a scrubbing brush and goggles. The stuff is a hydrochloric acid solution. Use as instructed on the container.

    Wall stains only noticed, AFTER a new (cleaner!) boiler and flue etc was fitted!

    as above but use a wire brush, carefully.
