US Shares trading account

Hi I need to find a UK tgrading account to hold US shares I have received in a divorce settlement. I just want to keep them for now and receive any dividends and then be able to sell them shortly. I have read some other threads and taken a look at the Landsown & Hargreaves Fund and Share Account, but not a clue if this is the right type of account. Any help much appreciated.
