I think the biggest problem is the subject of the post. Property OR shares.
For many people it shouldn't be an either or, but a mix of both. That could be BTL or it could be commercial property funds as part of a balanced portfolio. But picking property over shares is probably a risky idea that is illiquid and not flexible should any issues arise that require capital to be raised quickly.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
