an interesting question, and it can make a huge difference.
Amex credit card is a very short period...13days-ish from statement date?
whereas Cahoot used to be more like 28 days from statement date.
  • 55/56 days interest free is normally my average - giving you about three weeks to pay from the statement date, that I get on my cards.
The shortest I've seen it likely 44 days (13-14 days from statement date) - on the Barclays High 5 card (so sad to have gone) and Virgin Atlantic Black Card. Or, the TSB Advance which has no interest free time (don't have that)

The longest one I have is the Dankse Bank Credit Card that give's me 59 days to pay- so a full 28 days from statement date.

Strangely, the more rewarding (e.g: Points/Cashback) the card - the less interest free time you seem to get.
Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!

yes, Hi5 was useful.. i had a very similar one, kind of a predecessor to 'Hi5' and did nicely from it.
interesting inclusion of Danske bank. for a £ credit card as a UK resident?
and maybe that's not strange mac, as we either get cb/points or longer to pay. i'm going the whole hog and paying at the outset, ie. debit card, for a bit of TSB 5%;)
and yes, i finished up with Lloyds reissuing a card with No IFP at one stage.. that didn't last long;) i think Lloyds and TSB still issue these cards at times and anyone who can get away from them ought to do so.

I think you need to find a card provider registered on Pluto - One "day" on Pluto is the the equivalent of six and a half Earth days. :D
