Mppi halifax

The Halifax have agreed that they did mis-sell me mortgage ppi and have reimbursed me, however when I had this mortgage I tried to claim as I was ill and out of work but was told that my ppi was invalid and I had to sell my house, I sold the house and the halifax took an additional 10k from the final settlement due to missed mortgage payments. As the MPPI was mis sold should the Halifax taken this and can I reclaim it.

Do you mean you had a claim declined, what for? You could try to claim for consequential loses but depends for what the reason was, most people fail. If you were simply sacked from a job then that's nothing to do with the PPI mis-selling. You need to provide more information.0

I had post natal depression, my husband was not working when the policy was sold to us and that is why it was mis sold, so when I tried to claim they said they had miss old the policy and that I couldn't claim, I was advised to sell the house which I did.0
