Hi
I want to play the xbox one on my pic monitor and connected the two by hdmi candle but it wouldn't work. I realised this is because the pc monitor hdmi extension is hdmi out only. I need an hdmi in port obviously. Is there any way I can still make this work?

You could try one of these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/High-Grade-Textured-Cable-Products%C2%AE/dp/B003JZR72C/ref=sr_1_1?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1442692014&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+rgb:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

That cable won't work. It won't convert a HDMI signal to an analogue signal.
OP, you will need a monitor with a HDMI socket.0
