Donating Craft Supplies?

Hey all,
So about 4 years ago I decided that I would start making cards, I bought a whole bunch of crafty supplies and 4 years later I can't have made more than about 5 cards.
Most of my stuff is either not used or hardly used, it's far too much hassle for me to try and eBay it, but someone else could easily use it rather than binning it all
I've had a quick Google and I found Scrap Stores, has anyone ever donated to them? Or does anyone else have any ideas about where I could take my supplies?
Thanks!

I have donated to the local scrap store and have received items from them for my group.
They are great and will ensure that your unwanted card-making materials are put to good use.Grocery challenge 2017 January £158.74/£200
Grocery challenge February £100.91/£1900 -

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I work for a Pre- School and we are always so grateful for donations of craft supplies as we are a charity and to buy these items is really expensive. I would take them to a local one in your area. Maybe one that is run in a church hall, like the one that I work for and donate them for the children to make lovely things for their mum's and dad's x0

Scrap Stores are brilliant.
Other groups happy to receive such things direct would be Brownie Packs / Guide Companies or Scout groups, especially if some of the stuff is too fiddly for pre-schoolers.
However I just googled 'therapeutic arts groups Swansea' and quite a few adult groups seemed to pop up. I say this because the charity I work for (not in Swansea) were very grateful recipients of a huge mass of craft supplies from someone who was moving house and no longer had room for a dedicated craft room.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

If you want to help animals, you could search on www.Dogpages.org.uk for rescues (not just dogs) in your area, then join their forum and contact the craft person .0 -
Hi, I go into a small hospital twice a year. While there I do lots of crafting as they run craft sessions or bring craft things to your bed. It's non profit and has no funding, they would be very greatful for any craft materials. If you would like more details please PM me
Also lots of sick kids at https://www.postpals.co.uk would love a crafty parcel in the postBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
Rehome an unwanted prize or gift with a seriously ill child through Postpals.co.uk0 -
I recently donated a bundle of craft stuff to the local children's hospice after phoning them to ask if they could make use of it.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
